Tomasz Sypniewski - facebook:New armwrestling technique :/ Honestly: I can't watch it anymore. Ok, I don't want to start discussion on MT style again but I hate it, it's not Aw to me. Period John Brzenk I am also very surprised there is no rule in place to keep the armwrestlers point of the elbow in contact with the elbow pad. When I was watching Michaels match there were a few times that it was a good 2 inches above the pad ... I looked over to the monitor ref and he smiled and said it was OK. Not sure if I have ever seen in print PAL's rules ...they seem to be very strict on some tiny slight elbows ... and then very forgiving in other areas... John Brzenk It's been discussed many many times way before MT used it. but for some reason the promotors of this sport haven't addressed it completely or if they have ...they have decided it's good for the sport. Crazy George has been using for years. all I'm saying is it was very strange to see a straight arm ...the physics are completely changed from normal armwrestliing strengths... John Brzenk and no it has nothing to do with a bone lock .... everyone can wrestle with a straight arm if they practice this enough... John Brzenk Yes agreed Mike can pull in a normal fashion very well against the very best. We have all seen it ...And the move isn't about Mike ... I just hate to see others travel down this road ... kids can't armwrestle like this on the floor or across a kitchen table ... it shouldn't be something that is practiced or allowed just because a rule has yet to be defined in the Pro levels. And yes I do believe WAF did implement a rule ...but PAL isn't WAF. something more clear and easier to determine should be discussed.

Franco Zilio ► Armwrestling John - Engin Engin Terzi could you give us your final word on this? Engin Terzi almost everyone probably including you, knows what i think about this subject.. ... John Brzenk I have accepted it in the past when the point of the elbow still remained in contact with the elbow pad ... but what I witnessed thursday ... arm straight and elbow in the air pivoting on the back on the pad with triceps ...isn't good for the evolution of this very well known game. John Brzenk kids would tell you this isn't the right way Calvin Trung Pham Wasn't it about opposite shoulder can drop below the table John? John Brzenk yes ... the rules need to be looked over and written ...not sure if a lawyer has to do it but almost anyone can twist words to their interpretation ... John Brzenk yes ...of course Calvin I didn't read who you were talking to ... yes the opposite shoulder can go where ever it likes ... Calvin Trung Pham So it's Wild Wild West AW, carry your "gun" to the table and play with your rules, hahaha. But NO lawyers please. They may put "Threaten your opponent to sue him if he refuse to stand up" or "clutch your elbow and scream see you in court, I have eyes witness" hahaha John Brzenk yes, it would seem. there are no regulations in this sport. who ever is putting on the event can do things and enforce things the way ..THEY want to ...who's gong to stop them ? Michael or anyone else has perfect right and sense when money is involved for their family to do what ever it takes to win ...I don't blame anyone for this ... but to continue to say ...it's oK it's in my rules ... is the wrong direction for this sport ...of course JMHO. John Brzenk This isn't against Mike ... I like Mike. I just don't want to go to school and watch Kids wrestling like this because they saw it on TV... Michael Todd Well I guess it's a good think this wasn't a WAF event. All things considered I'm just glad I was able 2 get thru the match with out injuring my hand further. I wish ppl weren't so critical oft armwrestling b/c what I saw was some very good transitional armwrestling! Jmho! Michael Todd That was suppose 2 b so critical of my armwrestling
