Sarah Bäckman " Ooooo great question. How I got in touch with WWE! I was training at Golds Gym in Venice, LA in February this year, with my good friend Chris Bell (producer, director and actor in the movie "Bigger Stronger Faster". Suddenly he said: "Hey, Sarah, you would be perfect for WWE!". I was like "What on earth is that?" YES I KNOW, I didn't know exactly what it was... hehe... "Let me make some calls!", he said. The next day I had a meeting with the woman who's responsable for the casting among the divas. Her words was "I can really see you be one of us". The next day I went to audition. It was me and 10 other drop dead gorgeous women there. I did some moves. Jumped in the ropes ( in the ring). Did some locks & falling/smack down. Did anything they told me. Spoke in front of camera . "Come back on Wednesday" they said. Real poker faces. I knew nothing. Days passed and I went there again and did another training. They didn't say a lot. So I still didn't know what was going on. Since I was about to leave to go back home to Sweden just in the next couple of days, the actions needed to be done quick by now. So I had this "last meeting" with the big boss of WWE. He asked me all questions you ever can imagine. Private questions and emotional. Tricky. Would I be ready to change my life completely? What about my armwrestling career? Moving out from Sweden? Family? Somehow I seemed to answer it all good, coz then he said "you're hired!" ;D Life can really change when you least expect it. Whatever is gonna happen regarding this, I will be thankful to Chris Bell forever and a day, to make this coming true and to have made this to an opportunity for me. ♥ Love you my friend! " ________________ Ryan Bullock " I don't know how personal your interview was. But WWE tends to structure their talents to their needs, not necessarily to the talent. For ex., your name probably won't be Sarah, it'll probably be Gertrud, or Broomhilda, or Helga, or Inga. And they'll own that name. Fans may never know you as Sarah Backman. You should also realize that WWE Divas Živilė Raudonienė (Aksana) and Celeste Bonin (Kaitlynn) are also bodybuilders. They had to drop a great deal of muscle mass in order to compete in WWE. Can you deal that? And then there's the issue of...(**please forgive me for saying this**) BREASTS! WWE breasts. Much more so than long hair, which you'll probably have to cut considerably shorter. Then there's the travel, 300 days a year. The horror stories! I'm not saying WWE wouldn't be a fit 4 U, but it concerns me that you responded "What on earth is that?"
