Leonard Harkless a explicat de ce a fost nevoie sa se introduca aceasta regula: " You can only pin your opponent on the winning side of the table - Which is defined as the inner edge of your elbow pad "Leonard Harkless pe northeastboard:" Oddly enough for instance, you and your opponent drop below the parallel pin line(in a hook), straight in the center. What was the call? In the old rules, whoever was on top, won. In the new rules you continue to pull until one or the other gets on the winning side of the table. " Leonard Harkless pe northeastboard:" It actually happens. You are in a top roll position and your opponent is in a bent wrist position. You then drive him straight down and on the wrong side of the table. Wham you just pinned yourself. " Leonard Harkless pe northeastboard:" Yep you parallel pinned yourself. John Brzenk first brought this problem to the community. He would slam his opponent into the table top but it was on the wrong side of the table........whats your call? At that time there was no rule on pinning your opponent on the winning side of the table. I brought the question up to the then WAF Head Referee David Sheed and he said that since there was no rule on which side of the table to pin your opponent......it was a pin. That brought its own set of problems because then alot of pullers was doing it. Hence the clarification of the pin rule. "

Leonard Harkless pe northeastboard:" They have not advertised this fact but WAF paid big bucks to get a custom computer system that mirrors their draw sheet design.........so no the only thing crazy is this system that WAF has. " __________________________ Culmea este ca Leonard Harkless este seful arbitrilor WAF inca din anul 2002: " Leonard was appointed as the Head Referee for the World Armwrestling Federation under the direction of Fred Roy (Canada) in 2002. WAF strap configuration rules !?!
Leonard Harkless pe northeastboard:[/b][/u][/url] " There is not regulations for thickness. A happy medium is what you should shoot for. Too thin and the buckle will not hold and it could break. Too thick and it will be hard to get it tight. Try one out and use your own judgement since there is not set rules. LH "

Regulamentul WAF spune in cadrul sectiunii ITEM 3 – SETTING UP / START OF THE MATCH - ITEM 3.3: " Feet can be off the ground during competition and legs can be moved in any fashion as long as they don’t interfere with their opponent.
PS: Aceasta discutie va fi mutata in cateva ore in subiectul Regulamentul WAF / Reguli Skandenberg

ITEM 3 – SETTING UP / START OF THE MATCH - ITEM 3.3 " When the referee instructs the competitor to take their foot off of the opposite leg of the Table because of the objection of their opponent, the foot needs to stay down and if returned to the table leg of their opponent you will receive a warning.

Am o intrebare: La inceputul unei runde, daca numai un luptator face probleme in nerespectarea indicatiilor arbitrului pt. a pornii corect runda, acesta ce primeste avertisment sau gresala ? Mai intai primeste un avertisment. La al doilea avertisment primeste o greseala. Doar in priza de arbitru primeste direct greseala.

If in that time, they have not gripped up, they will be given a “referee’s grip”. A referees’ grip consists of the following procedure; Competitors’ hands are placed palm to palm by the referee, centre is determined, the thumbs are pushed down by the referee, the fingers are wrapped by the referee, first one competitor, then the other. As they are wrapped referee asks competitor if he/she wants their thumb covered or not. Thumb knuckles will be showing, hands level, wrists straight and hands centered. "

Warnings - ITEM 1: " d) Letting go of the peg will result in a warning being called to the offender, without stopping the match. Unless that is the second warning. "

In regulament asta se specifica: ITEM 16 • STAND UP STYLE - Two table top referees will be used: a) " The referee starting the match will be deemed Head referee of that particular match. Assistant referee will watch for elbow fouls at start of match and assist in assuring a fair start. After the match has started, the two referees will watch for fouls or a pin. "

Regula de la ARM WARS mie mi se pare foarte buna (este un fel de legea avantajului), mai ales pentru ca majoritatea arbitrilor WAF ignora aceasta regula din regulamentul WAF: ITEM 6 – WINNING THE MATCH - f) " Any foul that is received when the competitor’s hand is more than 2/3 of the way down to the pad is a loss " Regula aceasta practic este cea mai putin respectata regula din tot regulamentul WAF.

In regulament mai este scris asta, dar nu se refera la arbitrii: ITEM 17 • PROTOCOL b) " Individuals (unless authorized by the Head referee at a table), may not approach a table to within 20 feet. Strict penalty may be enforced. "
