Am deschis si un subiect separat, pentru ca sunt mai multe lucruri de zis. 1. Considerand rezultatele de pana acum, in meciurile care urmeaza intre Stefan Lengarov si Tomasz Szewczyk, inclin in favoarea lui Lengarov. 2. Meciurile dintre Krasimir Kostadinov si Chermen Khadaev sigur vor fi incendiare (dar inclin in favoarea lui Krasi), avand in vedere ceea ce s-a intamplat la europene intre ei. 3. In meciurile dintre Marin Pantaleev si Radu Georgescu, Radu trebuie sa se prezinte in cea mai buna forma a lui pentru a avea sanse, deoarece Pantaleev este un adversar redutabil. Voi ce ziceti ?EuroArm 2011 - senior class (Right) - 34

" Chermen Khadaev is a 25 year old competitor from Russia. He began his armwrestling career in 1999 - 2000. At that time, living in a small village near Vladikavkaz he began his first adventure with armwrestling. But his real adventure with the sports discipline in earnest began in 2003, when he joined the Enaldiev’s team – a referee of the leading world players. Then in 2003 he began to achieve his first successes at national and international arena - a win in the junior category of the Russian Championship, promotion to the National Team for European and World Championships, the silver medal at the European Championships in Hanau, Germany, and the gold medal at the World Junior Championships - Gdynia 2003. A year later, at European struggle he also reached the podium, but the third place. In 2006, as a senior, at the European Championships in Hungary he won the gold medal. Between 2007 and 2008 Chermen Khadaev because of an injury (in accidental circumstances Chermen lost the tip of the little finger) did not participate in any, meaningful armwrestling competitions. As he told us in a telephone interview: "... I was very depressed because fingers play a big role in life of every armwrestlers". He returned to fight on the armwrestling arena in 2010, when he was drafted into the Russian National Team at the European and World Championships. At the Russian European Championships - Moscow 2010 he again won the gold medal, a few months later at the World Championships in Las Vegas, USA he won the vice championship of seniors. Vendetta Saint Vlas, Bulgaria 2011The next step in the sports career of the Russian player will be a professional, six-rounds fight of the PAL organization for the right hand in the up to 95kg class. His opponent will be not just anybody – but the leading Bulgarian National Team player - Krasimir Kostadinov. It will be practically a duel of the evening, performed by grandmasters of the sport. Their extensive experience and skills will make them show live, us – viewers, both on the spot and in front of TV-sets (TV 7 Bulgaria and web TV: www.redmediatv.ru, armwrestling on a high and exciting level. It is worth any price to watch this duel of professional armwrestlers. Hook vs hook – who is better?"At the last European Championships in Turkey after a long minutes fight between these competitors referees awarded the first prize to the Bulgarian player (he won on the fouls). This was for me one of the best fights of the championships"- said Igor Mazurenko, a promoter of the professional armwrestling. After the duel, the promoters of the PAL (Professional Armwrestling League) organization, to see whose hook is stronger, decided at once to organize six-round meetings of these two players. Chermen Khadaev is a real hook champion. Just like his opponent - Krasimir Kostandinov. As the Russian player said "... I virtually never use the top fighting technique. If I have to, I do it very occasionally. Lateral pressure is also not my favourite fighting technique. The Russian athlete trains 3-4 times a week, of which he spares twice a week. In his training arsenal exercises for biceps occupy 60-70%, and wrist exercises up to 30-40%. From the upright hand on the bicep he lifts 50 kg a few times. His record of holding a dumbbell on biceps is 130 kg with one hand. The situation with the wrist is a little worse, because as the player says himself: "I work with the weight of 65-70 kg". Despite such a large disparity between the strength of the wrist and bicep Khadaev easily beats his competitors in a hook technique. Will it be the same also this time? "

" Tomasz Szewczyk is a leading, Polish competitor. He participates in Armwrestling since 2003, when he started in the Polish Junior Championships, from which he returned with medals. He is an organizer of many local and nationwide rank events. Commentator of most events associated with armwrestling in the largest stations, he also regularly commentates on the Professionals’ World Cup on "N" television. Of course – he is still a competitor active in all the tournaments in Poland and beyond its borders. Before him, a professional fight in Bulgaria in which he will face ....For this occasion we met and interviewed him. Name: Tomasz Szewczyk Date of Birth: 15th September 1986 Weight: 85 kg Height: 172 cm Biceps: 45 cm Forearm: 41 cm Residence: Tychy/Tomaszów Mazowiecki Club: Tytan Jaworzno Education: secondary Marital Status: married since April;) Hobby: strength sports, bodybuilding, martial arts, fishing, aquarium. Hi Tomek, in Bulgaria a professional fight awaits you. Have you already known your opponent? How do you feel before the fight? Do you think that this will be a chance for you?Hello. Indeed, it certainly is for me the next step in my athletic career, which sooner or later have to come! We must develop and put new goals, only then what I do makes sense and gives me satisfaction and fulfillment. I know my oponent, he has a few medals of the WC and EC on both hands on his account and is definitely a favorite in our fight. Are you going to enter now any special training plan before the fight? I must admit that I have little time to prepare for this duel, so I will not be able to change much. It is a month to the fight, I found out about it a few days ago and I'm going to focus primarily on increasing strength and speed, because it is surely not enough time to build strength. I once fought with Stefan Lengarov at the European Championships in Norway. He defeated me attacking to the top and I know that this is his strong point. But our fight will be for your right hand and I will try to focus on technique that will allow me to win the fight with the Bulgarian. I know that his right hand is weaker, I am definitely better on the right hand, but it does not prove anything, I must now focus on him and do everything to be in the best possible disposition. What next after defeating the Bulgarian? After the fight, I will think what next , win will probably make my spread my wings towards preparations for Nemiroff Cup which will be held in October, and lost will motivate to even harder workout. I will not surrender for love nor money!! Let’s back to current affairs. When you train, how does your everyday workout look like, what weights do you practice with?I train three times a week for 2- 3 hours, while during the summer I train less intensively, I decrease the load and reduces muscle mass. In the time of preparations I train with high loads, while using simultaneously a pyramidal training system, based on increasing the load and reducing the amount of repetitions. Out of season, I use small weights giving muscles and tendons the possibility of regeneration, keeping them in constant readiness for next season. We are now out of the said season. What are you doing now? Holiday period, as I mentioned earlier is for me largely a period of rest from trainings. I am working on finishing the house, and if anyone knows how Polish "building teams" operate knows what I mean:) I do most of the work alone, so I often have no time for anything else. How did your adventure with armwrestling start? What did your family think of it at the beginning, and what do they think of it and consider it now? At the beginning probably as always my family looked at it with some apprehension about the future of the sport, my possibilities in it – it can be said that they were quite skeptical. I went to the first tournament to Gdynia in 2003 to the Polish Junior Championships as a total amateur with no idea what is armwrestling and how serious discipline it is. But I took a chance. I was a newbie and incredibly professional approach of my opponents to the competitions: their knowledge, fight techniques, professionally organized tournament, a professional table and referees etc. .. scared me. I was 17, I had the will to fight and a little aptitude ... but it was enough to win two silver medals at the junior PC without all the above words beginning with professionally :-) I weighed less than 62 kg, my parents told me that I should to count on the medals, I can be at most the first from the end. On one hand, it was good because if I lost, there would be no disappointment, but on the other hand, the greater was the joy that, it worked and I got medals!! Then were Junior World Championships and that’s somehow till this day It is only important, not to become discourage, get scared, it's something new for arms, new movements, new exercises and hands must get used to it. After several months pain ceases, and you can wrestle a few hours a day, which for a beginner would end a week holiday from everything. Whether and if so, how you connect the passion/sport to work? And May be you study?I studied at the Academy of Physical Education, however, I interrupted during the 3rd year and focused on other duties. But with time I managed to sort out all, so I will probably soon return to study. As for my work I have great luck. I move in armwrestling circles, so I do what I like, and this is after all this is my way of life:) Do you have any interesting stories / anecdotes about events in armwrestling? The truth is that virtually every trip to the tournaments is associated with some interesting story, and always particularly interesting are those in which Mariusz Grochowski and Dariusz Muszczak took part :-) Certainly there will be many opportunities to talk about them, because I will never finnish up with armwrestling, and certainly not of my own volition. It is a love and passion in one, fanaticism that shaped my current life, my personality and lifestyle, without it I cannot function normally. Do you model on someone? Does anyone inspire you? Have you got your "master"?Definitely my patterns are people who shaped their organisms so that they can safely say that none of the behavior of the organism is unexpected for them. I am talking about Rustam Babayev and John Brzenk. They both reached so much, have a lot of knowledge, but what impresses me most is the fact - that what they do while training, at the table during the fight is 100% conscious. They are aware of every movement of the hand, every exercise. Everything is planned and sensitive and very few competitors know their organism and their capabilities as well as they do. Is there anyone you are afraid of in your weight class?Maybe what I am saying, will be "trite", but I really approach so to each fight. Every player deserves to be afraid of him before the fight and after the fight I can estimate whether someone was worth to be afraid of. Armwrestling is a very unpredictable sport, we are frequently surprised. Besides, I try to "educate" my body, because when I'm too self-confident and sure of my capabilities, I can ignore the opponent, which affects me very negatively - by what I make unforced mistakes and I'm slower. But I'm working hard on it and I see an improvement after each fight. As to whom I am afraid of in my weight class, it has to be added that, despite the very large rotation among the players that have recently occurred, by far my biggest rival in this country has been and will be Peter Bartosiewicz. How do you remember your best tournaments and which competitions were the best in your opinion? The best tournaments I took part in were obviously those in which I won something - they are important to me, and I will always hold them in my memory. When you look at a special cabinet with cups – you feel that you're in the right place. This adds a tremendous boost of motivation and strength to continue training and fighting. However if one, most important event should be mentioned objectively, it would definitely be the Professionals’ World Cup. Although my best position was the fourth place, assessing atmosphere, organization of the event it is the most professional one, enjoying the most popularity and I have the most pleasant memories of it. How would you rate the level of Polish/European armwrestling?I’m saying this with genuine satisfaction, but the Polish armwrestling is really growing strong! Although still we are missing a little bit to the world leaders, a really big progress can be seen. The organization of the contest is getting better from one event to the next, more and more companies see this huge potential - which, of course makes us incredibly happy! This is also reflected in the level of training, reducing the differences between Polish and foreign competitors which can be seen best at the World Cup. It seems to me that the only problem which must be tackled now, is a serious approach of the players to the sport. You know how it is. I you want someone to invest in you - you must first show what you can do. You really have to work hard to achieve success, and then benefits will come to themselves. So it was, is and will remain forever and the sooner some players will understand it, the better for them and armwrestling. You have to plant something in order to reap ... not vice versa! So now more loose .... Armwrestling, strength sports, martial arts, and then fishing and aquarium. Some of them do not fit here, don’t you think?Indeed, but you probably know how it is. After work one wants to calm down .... and aquarium and fishing are for me something that calm and distract me from sport for the moment, weights, fighting and aggression. It's a kind of soothing nerves:) Tell us, what is the situation at your club - Titan Jaworzno? Do you have some younger perspective players? Our club is the biggest armwrestling club in Poland and the best in terms of achievements, we have many talented and titled players. Our success attracts new young people, to the club, who are in ideal age for their first steps in armwrestling. They will definitely be spoken about, also on armpower.net;) Have you already got plans for holidays? Are you already after your honeymoon? The honeymoon was in name only, we have planned the honeymoon in late August. The offer of a professional fight in Bulgaria has changed a lot. Although we planned to visit Tunis, the phone on the fight took place two days before the date of advance payment. In such circumstances, I managed to combine business with pleasure and we will spend our honeymoon in Bulgaria, staying there nine days on leave:) Finally, how do you feel after changing your status from "SINGLE" to "MARRIED"?I come from Tomaszów Mazowiecki, and until recently I represented the local club, now since I live in Tychy, I am able to commute (about 30 miles) to train in Jaworzno which is definitely a change for the better for me. While the wedding certainly influenced my life positively. Luckily my wife is also an armwrestling competitor (Polish Champion of up to 50 kg) so she understands and supports me in my training and vice versa. Besides finding a beautiful punch line - if not Armwrestling, we would not even meet :-) So I owe so much to armwrestling "

The 20th August 2011. This date will for sure be engraved the annals of Polish armwresting in thick syllables. That day in Bulgaria in the village of Saint Vlas a Polish player - Tomasz Szewczyk (an interview with him you can read HERE) will meet in a professional, six-rounds fight with one of the most recognizable armwrestler in the world - Stefan Lengarov. Tomek, as he admits: " I know that I'm not a favorite, but it is a great chance, which I intend to take! I know Stefan’s strengths and weaknesses, I saw his fights, I will do my best! " Each of us will keep our fingers crossed for Tom and we hope that he will surprise the Bulgarian favourite. Who is Stefan Lengarov?Born on 10th September 1988. He spent his childhood in the village Menekyovo in Bulgaria. Both he and his brother are very strongly associated with armwrestling. It must also be added that his armwrestling career began very early, but then quite unwittingly - as an amateur. It became more serious in the times of high school, when he and his colleagues organized armwrestling tournaments at school benches during breaks between lessons (and sometimes even during classes). It was clear that Stefan has incredible predispositions. Then he decided to take up armwrestling professionally. With one of his friends - Blaje Blajev he joined the Bulgarian club "Armwrestling Vitosha" and even then, being only 17 years old he beat many older players. " I learned the most about armwrestling from Hristo Delidjakov, who is still a kind of my personal trainer " – said Stefan about the beginnings of armwrestling. His first, significant world medal he won in 2007. Today the Bulgarian athlete has won titles of the World and European vice-champion for four times, and many other titles on national and international level. And why not the World Championships? There were always others, just like him, grandmasters of the sport, getting in his way to the golden medal. As Lengarov says: "My biggest opponents are Rustam Babaev and Artyom Taynov from Ukraine. They are the ones I was losing fights for gold medals at World and European championships". I model on the best! When asked whether he has idols, he answers: " There is always someone to who you would like to pattern on, when you have not reached all yet - only when you feel fulfilled. I myself give the first place to John Brzenk from the U.S.A. He is the" face” of the world armwrestling. Undefeated for over 20 years, and his performances have always inspired and motivated me and others to harder work "The second person, about whom Stefan talked was his Bulgarian colleague - Cvetan Gashevski. Although Cvetan officially ended his sports career, anyway, as Lengarov says himself " About Gashevskim you can say that he is the teacher of all Bulgarian athletes. He is the first Bulgarian athlete, who was the World Champion. Therefore, as well in Bulgaria, as in the corridors of world armwrestling he is called by all the Professor " 39 Vendetta - Saint Vlas, Bulgaria 2011For four years in a row, Stefan Lengarov won medals of European and World Championships. So the time to show what he can do as a professional came. The 20th August 2011 in Saint Vlas, as the host he will fight for the right hand in a six-rounds duel of the international PAL organization in up to 86kg class. His opponent is a talented, well-known Polish armwrestler - Tomasz Szewczyk. " I fought once with Stefan Lengarov at the European Championships in Norway. He beat me withe the top attack and I know that this is his strong point. However I'll try to focus on technicque that will allow me to enter into a battle with him. I know that my opponent has a weaker right hand. Whereas I am definitely better on the right hand "For an answer to the question: who is better?, unfortunately we will have to wait until 20th August. Then we will be able to see the armwrestling fight of these two powers: Stefan Lengarov from Bulgaria and Tomasz Szewczyk from Poland. Who will come out victorious from this fight? You will be able to find it out while keep visiting Armpower.net and the fight, which will be broadcasted through our site. "One thing is certain, it will not be an ordinary fight, but the a great battle! So be with us.

39 Vendetta – M. Pantaleev a special InterviewName: Marin Georgiev Pantaleev (also known as "Bay Marin") Date of Birth: 18.08.1975 Weight: 110 kg Height: 187 cm Biceps: 45 cm Forearm: 40 cm Fighting Style: All, but mostly "hook" Place of residence: I live in Sofia. Education: I have a high-school with special profile education. Marital status: I am single, with a child. Hobbies: Except Armwrestling, I like hunting, fishing, weightlifting and rowing (before long time ago). Since when have you practiced Armwrestling: practice Armrestling since 6 ½ years. The greatest achievements:My biggest achievements are 2nd place from European Championship and 3rd place also from European Championship. How did it happen and when did you start practicing Armwrestling? Why this and not some other sports discipline? I have trained rowing 12 years, in school I have won over all my opponents, also over the people in the rowing base. We have played also Armwrestling, where I was able to fight everyone. I had a feeling of great strength and especially, endurance. Namely because of my endurance – I’ve decided to begin Armwrestling. How did you start? How did you learn to fight at the table? Who was your trainer??I’ve learnt that there was an Armwrestling club, opened soon in the Bulgarian capital Sofia. I’ve decided to sign in myself in this club. I’ve learnt from other, more advanced, teammates, and most of all - of the older players of the team. Coach was Hristo Delidjakov. Did you train any other sport before? If so, did you have any success and does it help you now in armwrestling?I have trained rowing, where I had success, I’ve reached national vice-champion titles. Experience and lessons, learnt from the rowing, of course, help me also in the Armrestling. What win can you regard the greatest achievement? Why?Strive towards a world title and left, and right hand. That satisfied me both physically and spiritually - the feeling of victory, excitement, pride when his ladder. Which achievement cost you the most effort?A Balkan championship in Romania ’2008, also the European Championship in Sofia ‘2009. How many times per week do you exercise? Tell us a little how your training looks like?I train once a week. Mostly biceps, forearm and crunches, rarely - cross. How do you plan your starts season in armwrestling? Do you follow the preparatory periods, and how do you divide the season to macro and micro training cycles? Now I have given myself a rest, 3-4 months before the World Armwrestling Championship (1-8 December 2011 in Almaty, Kazakhstan). And when the time comes, like any athlete – I will prepare and will aim to get the World title. Who is your sparring partner? My sparring partners are all, that are in the training-hall, especially Hristo Delidjakov, Todor Genov, Stefan Lengarov, Kaloyan Tumbev and others (including even some of the younger and lighter players). What is your best weapon in Armwrestling? My best weapon in Armrestlinga are my endurance and my will to win. In what element are you the weakest, what else do you need to improve? My biggest weakness is in the element of the biceps, but I try to preserve exactly this to be decisive for the event, in which I fight. Is any of armwrestlers a model for you? Who is he and why?Models for me are mostly older competitors, because they can still fight strongly and are better. I bow to every well-routined athlete. Here are some examples: John Brezenk, Cvetan Gashevski, Andrey Pushkar, Babaevi brothers, Tsindiliani. How does your popularity look like, how are you recognizable?About my popularity in Armwrestling – I really have it. I am well recognizable. Do you get any tangible benefits from the sport? Do you feel a full professional?Major benefits of sport naturally I receive. I think I’m not complete Armrestling professional, as I do other things – trade (it’s my main profession), vegetables, leasing-farming and so on. However, I strive to get better professionalism in Armwrestling too. Do you feel better in the fight on left or right hand? Do you have any serious deficiencies in your hands? On the issue of arms and their left-right comparison: in general we know, that most people are right-handed, but I'm left-handed. I look to saddle both hands equally, but I'm better with the left hand, I count on it. Sometimes, in order for better tehnic, I hope to play well on right hand too. What are your hobbies, favourite books, music, drinks, cars?I love adventure literature, scientific and popular TV shows such as Discovery, National Geographic and others. About cars – I am modest do not prefer too fast cars, but practical and functional – yes. Tell us about your private life. How do you spend time after workouts? Where do you live, with whom (if I may ask you).Privacy and free time after my workout I spend with my wife and my child, dealing with vegetables. We live in a beautiful quarter of Sofia. You have already been really successful. What are you planning for the next season? For next season Armrestling I will try to get better achievements. When you finish your sports career (I wish you both long and successful) what will you want to take up then?I wish in future to deal with land and land-leasing. Who do you train now with, who do you consult about training, diet, supplementation?I train with my teammates, with them I advise about diet, supplements and so on. Let’s now move to an Armfight duel. What do you think of six-round duels? Is it a good form of competition, is there any difference in fighting, should you use a different tactic?Armfight system is a really good formula for armwrestling. I bet most of his endurance, but depends on my opponent. What will fighting in Armfight give you?Armfight really gives me everything. Is this your first duel in Armfight and did you prepare in any special way? This is not my first Armfight (with Radu Georgescu Romania on 20.08.2011 in Sveti Vlas), I have not prepared specifically, but I train hard. What do you think of your rival? Have you ever fought with him? Are you afraid of him? Have you already had established tactic for him? Are you afraid of his advantages? What kind of?Radu my opponent "Valahu" Georgescu is quite good right hand, while I - the left. I hope if I fail, the result is at least 3:3 in the worst case for me. Who do you think is the leader in this weight category and would you be able to beat him in six-rounds duel?Radu Valahu example, is certainly one of the leaders in our category (over 95 kg). I actually beat him to the left and right hand grade, but in this case just right - not known. After this Armfight, who would like to challenge for another duel? Why?If I am fit, I would like my next Armfight be with Vyacheslav Muriev. Why do audience should watch your fight?I am a supporter of the idea of promoting Armwrestling. Since it is something really fresh and non-monotonous - it is a wonderful sport! "

39 Vendetta - expert opinion" Vendetta Krasimir Kostadinov (Bulgaria) vs Charmen Khadaev (Russia) Engin Terzi (Turcja) - expert opinion:First time i have ever seen Khadaev was in 2004 Europeans in Poland.i remember myself asking to Tsakhilov Taimuras "why do you pull 85kg instead of 80kg" and he told me that his student was pulling in 80kg.this student was Chermen Khadaev who also pulled 78kg junior class where he had battles with younger Babayev,Ruslan.after those battles i thought Chermen would be so tired to pull senior class but surprisingly he stopped Rustam for minimum 20 seconds in hook. Following year Chermen performed not good at EAC 2005 in Sofia but after that he had his famous battle with Tsoriev and proved himself to be one of the best under 90kg.after some years of brake Chermen is back to armwrestling arena with a great shape again.he was the only one who was a challenge to Krasimir at 2011 Eac. First time i saw Krasimir was 2006 Manchester WAF (junior) where he was flexing his huge biceps after he wins.usually junior guys are not so effective in the first year of their senior class but Krasimir was up there with Sharon,Muriev and Stojan at 2007 Europeans.then he was great at WAF where he had minutes long starts with Andrey Kruglov and this caused them to lose a possible gold medal there.2008 Europeans showed that he was ready to become the best even though he took 2. after Muriev.he fulfilled his well deserved World title in 2008 Canada and till this day he has been pulling succesfully. I must say that this is one of the best supermatches that i could ever imagine.both pullers have incredible hook strength and also great endurance.Chermen uses more of muscle strength while Krasimir uses muscle strength supported with joint pressure.his strong tricep also helps his joint pressure.i give higher chance to Chermen in early rounds while Krasimir has higher chance in later rounds. I believe that Krasimir's defensive joint lock will tire powerful muscles of Khadaev but not sure which round this will happen.i have no doubt that there will be wars and i predict that either there will be a tie 4-2 score for either athlete.i will be surprised if any of them dominates the other unless one of them gets out of gas in later rounds.anyone who will watch this supermatch live, should better take a 6 pack can drink and extra large sized pop corn because it will be a long one!
