Is A1 a competition for Nemiroff Cup?" The Professional Armwrestling League will also participate in the history of this unusual event . At the request of Alexander Filimonov- the President of the Russian Armwrestling Association the PAL team will be responsible for TV part of this tournament. The responsibility for preparing and performing TV broadcast in a similar manner as it was at Nemiroff World Cup 2011 will belong to them. In the lobby it is heard that Moscow tournament will be a competition for the annual Professionals World Cup - Nemiroff World Cup organized in Poland. So we asked the main organizer of the Nemiroff World Cup - Igor Mazurenko what he thinks of that: “A-1 tournament is not a competition for us. Quite the contrary. We cooperate with this tournament to make its organization be as good as possible. We have different organizational priorities, and we give a stronger emphasis on marketing. I believe that with such a brand as Nemiroff World Cup we will not have any market competition for a long time. Our tournament is enough rooted in the armwrestling environment. It’s a debut of the Moscow tournament on the armwrestling arena and we wish them with all our hearts, to keep the level of organization and not to fall out of the calendar of armwrestling events”. The organizers of this tournament, proposed quite an interesting system of competition (tournament rules are HERE). The first eight of the Open class, both in the left and right hand competition will fight in a kind of arfights. In this way, the organizers want to eliminate a possibility of positioning athletes in the tournament ladder. Will they succeed? The tournament will show. An interesting fact is that the winner of the left and right hand category and the open category can come back home with a prize of $ 23 thousand USD. A brilliant move of this tournament is to organize a separate category for disabled. It is the only event of a kind in the world, which is so committed in armwrestlers of disabled categories. Pe facebook se zvoneste ca Alan ar avea 247 de kg nu 247 de pounds ( ~ 112 kg ). Da pei Google Translate este de vina... In articol scrie 247 кг care daca il iei separat si il traduci din rusa in Engleza este 247 kg. Cam asa arata in 2010 Alan Karaev (este tipul din stanga):

Anul trecut Alan Karaev a iesit chiar campion european la sumo, in categoria +115kg:

European Sumo Championships 2011 - Backstage interview with Alan Karaev________________________________________ Alan Karaev are background serios in skandenberg iar forta este clar ca inca mai are... Deci tot ce cred ca ii mai lipseste este doar rezistenta, ca sa castige acest concurs de skandenberg... Oricum, la ce gabarit si brate imense are, va fi o prezenta foarte intimidanta pentru multi...

John Brzenk pe facebook:" this 6 rounds against different guys will by very tough for Devon ...because a lot of these guys will flash pin certain rounds.. " ___________________________ " edurance is good when it's against one person ...but to do it over and over again when others are using flash style pins will be very tough on the slow to get started puller " ___________________________ " Devon's hand size will negate any size advantage that Denis has over many of his opponents. But still there is ALOT of side pressure hit after the Go. " ___________________________ " I think the ones that will excel in this type of an event are going to be the guys that can win quick and fast and save themselves for later rounds ...the Endurance guy like Devon that will have to fight hard round to round while others either laid down or flash pin are at an advantage...of course the draw will have a huge factor when you run best of 5 rounds ...In this type of tournament I would pick andrey as a favorite to win it ... of course unless he meets Michael todd in a early round "
